Haven't posted here in a while so wanted to update everything over here as to what's going on with my channel.
Last year I picked up a PolarStar Fusion Engine and shortly after picked up some G&P Defender externals. I dropped the Fusion Engine into the G&P and it basically made it into a shorter version of my old G&P WOC. I decided that I finally had grown old of the Navy Seal trademarks on the gun and wanted to go to a different look. Just recently I traded the G&P Defender externals for VFC SR635 externals and I haven't looked back since. My main reason for changing everything is because not many people are going to have a fully ambidextrous AR. Just about the only way to get a hold of the body is to either buy the full gun or get them second hand, there really isn't a way to just buy the body brand new. Being a lefty, the way the gun is set up feels really natural to me but still allows me to easily transition to my right hand with ease.
The whole project got put on hold due to lack of funds but just recently I acquired the funds to purchase the last of the remaining parts for the bolt catch and selector switch from PolarStar that I needed to complete the build. I purchased an air rig from Amped Airsoft during their New Years sale and only a few hours after ordering, I found out a friend of mine was selling his 45/4500 tank so I picked that up for a pretty good price. Today I drilled a hole in the motor plate for the hose to come out of so I wouldn't have a hollow grip at the bottom. I'm still debating on shortening the tubing so that the connection will be the only thing sticking out of the grip instead of having the tubing and connector sticking out.
My next purchase for the build will be a rail system which I'm still trying to locate but once I find one and have the funds, that should complete the build. Once the build is complete, all that I will need are some mid caps and it will be ready to go!
I feel like I've completely forgot about this blog but I really do enjoy posting when I have some time. Feel free to follow my blog so when I actually do post, you'll know.
